Teresa is a speaker and writer with over 20 years experience in healthcare. Her areas of expertise include revenue improvement and helping doctors detect fraud & embezzlement within their offices. She understands the importance of continuing education - she has achieved Fellowship status in both the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries and the American Association of Dental Office Managers. Additional areas of interest include insurance coding and team training in collection and billing.

Teresa's blog, The Dental Implant Blog, is a source of industry updates and practice management tips. She also writes for publications such as Pennwell Dental Group and Dentalcompare as well as dental society newsletters and e-newsletters.  Teresa served as Editor of Dentalcompare's Implant Learning Center. Hu-Friedy has named her to their Industry Thought Leader Panel. She is a certified HR consultant with Bent Ericksen and Associates and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Institute of Management Consultants, Academy of Dental Management Consultants, and the American Association of Dental Consultants. She also hosts the popular Virtual Study Club for the American Association of Dental Office Managers.

Teresa received her Masters Degree in Healthcare Management from Marymount University.
