About Teresa

Teresa is a speaker and writer with over 20 years' experience in healthcare. She has two very different but equally important passions: educating doctors and dental students about fraud and embezzlement; and helping dental teams become more comfortable with implant dentistry. Recently awarded a Fellowship by the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries – a component of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, she understands the importance of continuing education. Her strengths are providing quality service to dentists and their teams in the areas of marketing, insurance training and accounts receivable/fraud analysis. She is a strong believer in the power of the Internet to grow both your practice and your team. Teresa’s seminars and webinars are delivered with the highest level of enthusiasm and are full of hit-the-ground-running tips. Teresa's blog, The Dental Implant Blog, is a source of industry updates and practice management tips. She also writes for publications such as PennWell Dental Group and Dentalcompare as well as dental society newsletters and e-newsletters. Teresa is the Editor of Dentalcompare's Implant Learning Center. She is a certified HR consultant with Bent Ericksen and Associates and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Other affiliations include the Academy of Dental Management Consultants, American Association of Dental Office Managers, and the Speaking Consulting Network; Teresa is also a faculty member of CareerFusion. Teresa received her master's degree in Healthcare Management from Marymount University.
